"Can there be more rewarding work than mine? I save lives for a living."

Thank you for visiting my Web page.

My name is Jonathan Rittenburg and I’m proud to be known as the “AED expert” in Nevada and Arizona. I was named salesperson of the year multiple times for my drive and attention to detail over the seven years I’ve been with Cardiac Science – the only company with a dedicated team of highly trained, consultative local AED experts throughout the US.

Cardiac Science AED training is the most thorough in the industry.
I am a Certified AED Specialist, having completed coursework in:
• Healthcare Sales Ethics Training (We take honesty and integrity seriously).
• Heart Anatomy & Physiology (To understand the heart and heart disease).
• FDA Regulations (To understand medical device regulations + compliance).
• State AED Regulations (Understanding legal requirements in AZ and NV).
• AED/CPR Training (I can save a life!).
• Defibrillation Best Practices Parts I + II (To best address your AED needs).
• AED Program Design (To design your complete AED program).
• Funding + Grant Assistance (To find creative solutions for tight budgets).
• AED Program Liabilities (To address any liability concerns you may have).

Your AED program can benefit from my experience.
I've sold AEDs in the thousands and helped design hundreds of AED programs including Nevada Project Heartbeat – the #1 statewide public access defibrillation (PAD) program in the United States.

Together with Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation I helped create Scottsdale Healthcare’s Project Heartbeat and, with #1 EMS Agency in AZ, Southwest Ambulance, I helped create Southwest Ambulance Project Heartbeat.

You can ask any of my customers what it's like to work with me, our fleet of customer care professionals, and their experience with Powerheart products and service. Some of my other customers include:
• Nevada State Patrol
• Maricopa County Sheriffs
• Scottsdale Schools
• North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District
• Northern Arizona University
• Maricopa County Community Colleges
• Arizona Department of Military Affairs
• Arizona National Guard
• Arizona Diamondbacks
• Cardinals Football

Why am I so passionate about my job?
There's nothing like learning a Powerheart AED – there because I sold it – saved one of the more than one million lives worldwide that are otherwise lost each year.

AEDs I sold saved at least 18 lives (that I know of). Try to imagine how that feels and you'll begin to understand why I'm so passionate about my job.

My #1 goal is to help you create and manage your public access defibrillation program to save lives! I represent Powerheart AEDs because they are designed with the first responder and professional rescuer in mind.

Each Powerheart AED G3 Plus (for layperson use) and G3 Pro (for professional use) is built to be Rescue Ready (it performs daily self-tests so it's ready to use when you need it) and easy to use. It comes with a seven-year warranty, and a full operational battery guarantee for four years (Plus) or one year (Pro).

Recent saves.
In 2009, the AEDs I sold to two School Districts in Arizona helped in saving two lives; a 17-year-old football player in Tucson and a 23-year-old cafeteria worker in Gilbert, Arizona. I also helped save a life in Winnemucca, Nevada. At Newmont Mining an AED deployed on the company bus (to transport employees to the mine site) was used at 7 a.m. one morning in spring 2009 to save a miner's life.

Practically speaking, the only chance a sudden cardiac arrest victim has for resuscitation is a shock from a defibrillator as soon as possible. According to the AHA (American Heart Association), defibrillation should be administered within the first three minutes of cardiac arrest. (Click here for the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest.)

Active in the community.
Raising awareness about sudden cardiac arrest is not a Monday through Friday, 9 to 5 job. Locally, I'm an active member of Nevada Project Heartbeat, the Southwest Ambulance Project Heartbeat (in Arizona), the Arizona SHARE program, and the Glendale SHARE program.

Nationally, I'm active with Parent Heart Watch, the Greg Moyer Foundation, and of course the American Red Cross, AHA, and the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association.

We need every opportunity to spread the word far and wide about sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and the life-saving possibilities made available with publicly accessible defibrillation.

In closing,
I hope you will take advantage of my AED/CPR expertise. Engage me in a conversation to be prepared … in case the unthinkable happens in your workplace, your children’s schools, your community center … anywhere that two or more people meet.

I look forward to your email or call.

Thanks for reading.
