This week, as part of the second national AED Awareness week (June 1-7), we’re going to take a look at some of the major issues around AEDs. These include legislation, research and statistics, education and training, and the technology that underlies easy-to-use AEDs like Cardiac Science’s Powerheart G3 Plus AED.

The American Heart Association has set a goal of training one million people in CPR this week.
The American Red Cross is kicking off its Summer of Safety campaign with First Aid, CPR, and AED courses.
