The AED definitely saved my patient’s life
“A 78-year old came in feeling very weak. The EKG showed a classic ventricular tachycardia. I said 'call 911,' and then we got our AED. It automated the whole process, diagnosed her, and recommended a shock. Her pulse rate came back and she converted to normal sinus rhythm.
It was certainly the woman’s lucky day.
